Author Interview with Lawrence Fisher:

Where are you originally from?

HOLY SHIT, you just announced I am from the Holy Land and now you are asking where I am from. Well, seeing as how my birth certificate got lost in one of moves, I don’t really know. The only evidence I have that I was born is when I see myself in the mirror when I shave. If I see myself in the mirror, does that mean that I am not a vampire? It is also possible that I am simply a figment of my own deranged imagination. Maybe I am just part of the Matrix? My late mother said that I was born in Rhodesia. I know live in Israel. Or do I?

What inspired you to become a writer?

Femalic creatures! I was pushed into it. I didn’t want to do it, I didn’t want to do it, they made me…The book kind of wrote itself. It started out as a blog and eventually reached over 2000 readers until one reader said that I had missed my calling.

How did you decide on your book's genre?

Humor is such a part of me. I manage to find humor in most of my situations, so it seems. Maybe I am just addicted to the song “Always look on the bright side of life”

What is/are your favorite genre(s)?

Whatever I write is good for me. Do you mean with others? I like thrillers and especially Medical thrillers. Cook books are the best! You know, the medical thrillers written by Robin Cook.

Are you currently reading anything?

Yes, reading these questions and wondering when I am getting back to work. Did you mean a book? I am currently reading three books. Robert Ludlum’s latest. I admire the way he keeps churning them out long after his demise. What a talent. Also Lee Child’s latest and another novel by Joanna Lee Doster.

Who or what is the driving force that keeps you  going?

Damn females keep me going. Still looking for the one female, who I will allow to make my life a living hell. Until then I will keep looking and collecting data for a four-book trilogy.

How do you balance your personal life with your  writing career?

What is a personal life anymore? If I am not writing, I am “researching”

Tell us about your book.

Now you ask me? After all these questions? My book is called “Kill Me Now!” A middle aged man’s maneuvers through the frontline of the dating battlefield.

It outlines my escapades or narrow escapes while looking for a soulmate which I call the ONE. Wait a minute, are YOU my one? Call me on 1-800-THEONE

How do you create your characters?

I was born with my character. Or was I born at all?

Do you have any upcoming events or book  promotions?

I have a radio interview coming up in a few days time and then another one just before Valentine’s Day. Who knows, maybe my ONE will phone in.
People, I would love to do a book signing in New York City. If enough people buy my book, I will be able to go there. How about it?

Where can people find you and your work on the web?

They can find me in my office, in a bar, at a singles meet or a single’s mingle.
